All Elvis and Kresse products require a high level of skill, creativity and design. Innovative designs must utilise waste material in a way that is both functional, and aesthetically appealing. Elvis and Kresse share their artisanal knowledge and problem-solving skills through a 14-month apprenticeship program run in their North Kent workshop.

Artisan Craft
Cycled
Elvis and Kresse’s core mission is to reduce waste by reclaiming leftover or discarded materials and repurposing them into something new. While UK fire hoses were the first waste material they set out to transform, they now work with old parachute silk, leftover leather scraps, coffee & tea sacs, shoeboxes, and more.
Eco-Conscious
Elvis and Kresse operate with environmental responsibility and preservation at their core. Through their range of upcycled materials, they have diverted over 165 tonnes of waste from landfills.
Economic Empowerment
Elvis and Kresse run an apprenticeship program for young people in their Kent Workshop in order to increase their local social impact, and create a new generation of highly-skilled craftspeople in the UK.
Gives Back
Elvis and Kresse donate up to 50% of their profits to projects and charities related to the materials they reclaim. For instance, 50% of profits from their fire hose range are donated to the Fire Fighters Charity in the UK. Other donations have been made to WWF, Help for Heroes, Comic Relief, British Forces Foundation, and more.
Handmade
All Elvis and Kresse products are unique and made by hand.
Made In Europe
Roughly half of Elvis and Kresse products are produced in their workshop in North Kent in the United Kingdom. The other half is produced on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey.
3rd Party Certified
Elvis and Kresse hold numerous certifications for their outstanding work. They are members of Social Enterprise UK, and hold the B Corp Certification for high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
Transparent
Elvis and Kresse operate on a vertical supply chain, which means that almost all production, and manufacturing occurs in the same location. This allows great visibility and oversight throughout the production process. They run a transparent workshop that allows visitors, and continually track the amount of material they have reclaimed (165 tonnes), and donations they have made.
