Harfi combines contemporary designs with traditional craftsmanship to create a unique collection of handmade homewares. Harfi works with local artisan co-operatives in Morocco, Turkey, and Vietnam to create authentic, handmade pieces such as intricate berber rugs, hand-woven baskets and soft organic cotton loom woven hammam towels. Each piece of the collection carries its own story, and helps support the preservation of traditional craftsmanship. Harfi embraces the “small quirks” of artisan, handmade goods appreciating these traits as “signatures of the personalities that go into making them”.

Artisans at the Heart of Harfi
Sabrina and Chris started Harfi to empower artisans throughout the developing world. Sabrina is originally from Morocco, where more than 400,000 people work as artisans using skills and techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. The couple wanted to help support these makers by providing a source of fair, stable income, while also protecting traditional craft. “Harfi” stands for “artisan” in Arabic, and these artisans are at the heart of everything Harfi stands for.
"In an age of mass commercialism, traditional crafts and indigenous methods of making are being lost every day. We created Harfi because we believe talented artisans need a louder voice, and our homes will flourish through their savoir-faire." - Chris, Co-Founder
